Acquisition of new clients in the region- Coordinate all sales activities with the agencies
Establishing and follow up on quotes and orders- Execution & Coordination of marketing activities in the region (including trade fairs and symposiums)
Main target: Increase sales volume for all Confectionery equipment in the region

Male/Female, age not over 35 years old
Minimum degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or electrical/electronics engineering
At least 2 years experience in selling industrial product (selling to automotive industry is prefer)
Good communication in English
Posses own car and valid driving license

Open new customers, observe the market and seek for potential customers and prepare customer visit plan
Receive necessary documents from customers for first system entry
Summarize monthly visit report.
Decide on trade deal (sales promotion, FOC, etc) with the new customers in the set frame and in consultation with the Manager
Ensure brand visibility/display in the new customers
Take initial orders and conduct initial regular visits for promoting the product awareness.

The 2010 UOB Kay Hian Institutional Sales Trainee Program is a one year program targeting a select group of fresh graduates from around the region. The program commences in September 2010 for participants from Thailand.
The program comprises a 2-month attachment in our Thailand research office, followed by a 2-month attachment on the Institutional Sales desk in Singapore, and is designed to equip Sales Trainees with maximum exposure and knowledge of our research sectors, as well as critical skills required for a salesperson. Upon successful completion of the program, Thai Sales Trainees will be based at our sales desks in Thailand.
